We're writing today to share an important update about xam.tools, the current XAM Web Tools product, and where XAM is heading next.

Beginning April 29, 2026, xam.tools is becoming the new main domain for XAM. Instead of being only a collection of web tools, it will become the central dashboard for managing all XAM products.

Why We're Making This Change

When we launched XAM Web Tools, the goal was simple: build a fast, clean, ad-free toolkit that respected user privacy. We still believe in that idea, and a lot of the thinking behind it will continue to shape what we build.

But the product itself ended up being too niche. It did not gain the userbase we needed to justify continuing it in its current form, and we do not want to keep pushing a product that is not finding its place.

So instead of letting xam.tools sit in the middle, we're turning it into something more useful for the future of XAM: a dashboard for the products, services, and tools we build next.

What Is Changing

The current XAM Web Tools experience is being discontinued. As the transition begins, xam.tools will move away from being a standalone web tools site and toward becoming the home for managing your XAM account and XAM products.

The goal is to make xam.tools the place where you can manage everything connected to XAM from one place. That includes current products, future products, account settings, and whatever else we build into the XAM ecosystem over time.

This is a direction change, not the end of XAM. We're narrowing our focus so we can build things that have a clearer future and a better reason to exist.

Your Account and Data

If you have an account on XAM Web Tools and want your data removed early, you have until April 29, 2026 to delete your account manually in settings.

After April 29, the shutdown process will begin. If you do not delete your account yourself by then, we may retain your account data for up to one month before it is permanently deleted.

We want to be clear about that timeline so users can make their own choice. If you want your account gone sooner, delete it manually in settings before April 29.

What Comes Next

We have a lot planned for XAM, and this move is part of making room for it. xam.tools gives us a clearer home for the XAM ecosystem and a better foundation for managing products in one place.

To everyone who tried XAM Web Tools, gave feedback, created an account, or supported the project in any way: thank you. Even though this version of the product is being discontinued, what we learned from it is still going into what comes next.

We're not done building. We're just getting more focused. More updates are on the way.
